Shampoos

At Shih Tzu Knot, your dog or cat is our number one priority. We use the highest quality shampoo available to us with formulas specifically for puppies, dirty coats, white or dark coats and even sensitive skin. These shampoos are used at no extra cost to you!

One on one attention

Grooming in the clients homes means that we can groom your dog or cat straight through. At a salon the normal routine is to bath all the dogs and then start the grooms. This means your dog or cat spends most of its time in a grooming crate. We use no crates and your dog or cat doesn't have to wait!

We Come to you!

Shih Tzu Knot is not a mobile groomer. We dont have a van or a trailer that we bring. We bring the shop to your house! We have professional, portable equipment that we bring with us to pamper your pet. Coming to you saves you 4 trips to pick up or drop off your furry friend to a salon thus saving you gas. In home grooming is great for dogs who experience anxiety and stress in a salon atmosphere. Its also great for those older pooches that have more trouble getting around and the ones who suffer from car sickness.

Q: Do I need to provide anything?

A: All I need from you is a place to bathe and groom and access to an electrical outlet.

Q: Can I book you today?

A: My appointments are very limited so I encourage you to book at least a week in advance.

Q: Do you groom aggressive dogs?

A: I try to groom any dog. If the dog is too aggressive to safely get the grooming done then we will have to stop. I do still charge a service fee though.
